meeting daniel johnston… let’s just say that i didn’t take it lightly. the guy’s a hero of mine, and is a pioneer of the sound that all my favourite albums, uhhhh: sound like.

residing in waller, texas usa, he’s in australia for the first time, playing laneway festivals around the country and a handful of sideshows including sydney’s metro theatre TONIGHT THURSDAY FEBRUARY 4 ARE YOU GOING?!.

FUN FACT: daniel apparently doesn’t like to leave the house much let alone travel, and would only come to australia (a) because it was really, really far away, and (b) on the condition that he flew business class all the way.
